We will begin talking about what we will be doing for the day as we stretch, warm up as a group and do introductions before splitting into groups (if needed) to focus on your skill set. We will have a few breaks and have a few contests/games toward the end of the lesson. If time is available, we will have “free skim” along with possible demonstrations from local professional riders. Skimboarding does consist of spending most of your time on the shoreline and in shallower water, but the shelf can change through the year and at times will drop off deep quickly, so participants need to be confident in their swimming abilities. We request each participant be sure to bring your skimboard, a towel, water bottle/drink, snack, sunscreen, dry clothes and POSITIVE ATTITUDE!
