Requests can be made for any above location. Lessons at locations other than those listed above can be accommodated for an extra fee.
Ages: 6 & up (Parents know their child’s abilities best and should use their discretion)
Experience Level: Any (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Semi Pro)
Every lesson is tailored to the age range, skill level and number of campers, but will all maintain the same basic structure. We will begin talking about what we will be doing for the day as we stretch, warm up as a group and do introductions before splitting into groups (if needed) to focus on your skill set. We will have a few breaks and have a few contests/games toward the end of the lesson. If time is available, we will have “free skim” along with possible demonstrations from local professional riders. Skimboarding does consist of spending most of your time on the shoreline and in shallower water, but the shelf can change through the year and at time will drop off deep quickly, so participants need to be confident in their swimming abilities. We request each participant be sure to bring your skimboard, a towel, water bottle/drink, snack, sunscreen, dry clothes and POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Be sure to reach out prior to the lesson to reserve a board if needed.
1 Participant - $60/Participant (2 hrs - $100/Participant)
2 Participants - $50/participant (2 hrs - $90/Particpant)
3 Participants - $45/participant (2 hrs - $80/Particpant)
4 Participants - $40/participant (2 hrs - $70/Particpant)
Lessons happen regardless of weather unless there is lightning. There are no refunds. If there is lightning we will reschedule to the next day available for lessons, or the next best date for you. Cancellation will be made by 8am the day of the lesson.
